Indian loyalties

Mon Feb 27, 2006 8:17 pm

Is there a way to sway the various Indian tribes to change sides? It seems that most alliences of the F&IW period were fluid.

If not, something that wouldn't put too much micromanagement in would make the game a bit more...dangerous.

In order to stabilize the game, most Indian loyalties are set from the start and won't change, apart from one or two exceptions.

Usually, Indians are French-Allied in all French & Indian war scenarios (hence the name :sourcil: ). Only the Mohicans are pro-English from the start (exception #1).

All Indians are pro-British in all revolutionary scenarios.

Exception #2: the Iroquois nations (6 tribes) are pro-British but neutral in the 1755 campaign. They will activate as British allies when Fort Frontenac falls (or if "unfixed" by British units). BUT, if the French take Albany, the Iroquois will "smell" victory and switch allegiance to the French :indien:
