Hi all,

Here is the official PON database, 1.04.4 version. Useful if you want to look at some events, data or if you want to engage into modding. Enjoy :coeurs:

We :coeurs: you Pocus!

I am trying to get a coalition of the willing (hopefully including modding-aware guys like Boernes and sagji) to enrich the AGE engine wiki as well, especially with Pride of Nation specific information regarding custom events, missions, playable nations, etc.

This will indeed be very useful.

Pocus, could you please write a list of all the possible scripted conditions, actions, etc? I could use it to interpret all the events in the game and script my own.

Those are commands created by the csv splitter. Likely won't be detailed.

The Wiki documents the commands used in the DB files [xls]
Note, the Wiki is still work in progress:

It would be helpful if these pages were linked to from the script commands page so you can at least see there are missing commands.

It would be better if they were included in the list of commands, even if with no page, or a link to one of the pages you list.

They are linked in Script Command section "S" :)

I'd have to stop working on patches to do that much Wiki work right now. :(

you would simply need one or two script kiddies with too much time and then delegate the work...

however, thanks for reminding us that such a list exists.

*just imagine me, embarrassed, looking down, for i actually read the commands from the original file instead of looking in the wiki....i am too old... :p ouet:*

Pocus, what are files to change into current installed versions of games (I don't find those XLS files, guess there is solme tool to make them scn or others

vgn8DB_Colonies_V5.xls and SOI_Database_v3b.xls do not cover Egypt as colony (Persia is , yaay !!) which is in regions35c.xls

this can be fixed easily in the xls, but those xls files do not appear in the files of application when lauched (they are in other files sct or else, reachable through wordpad) could Egypt case be fixed, else where (in which files and which place) can we / must we change data (I'm absolutely not familiar with tools using xls to create scn or others - can you explain me the process I must follow

many thanks by advance :)

basically, what if for example the step by step process to convert updated (including egypt) colonies and soi files into the needed files, and which needed files

Some issue linked to the transfer of FTP when the forum moved. We have to see that with the guys in charge when they return from vacation in January
