Interface extremly slow

If this is to do with moving around the screen using your mouse cursor i found using the arrow keys on my keyboard seem to move the screen a lot better.

FYI, I'm experiencing exactly the same. Laptop (a good one) is the issue. Deskop is fine. Both 64-bit Windows 7 and plenty of memory.

In the compatibility options can you check disable desktop composition?

Do you get 25 fps this way?

Just an FYI. With the beta patch and checking "Disable Desktop Composition", performance is OK on my laptop. Not as good as my desktop, but very playable. Haven't tried with just the beta patch (i.e., not checking "Disable Desktop Composition"), but I will at some point and I'll post the results.
