Ipv6

I launch a proposal to Ageod: why don't integrate IPV6 to your games? Actually exist many software (example freenet) which permit to have a IPV6 free, and being not games which requires low pings values like a FPS, these will be ideal for use IPV6 for play. IPV6 will bypass the problem of ports and permit multicast, and a bigger amount of info for each packet.

I have to admit that I'm not familiar with how WW1 uses networks, but for the AGE games (RoP, AACW, etc), mulitplayer is achieved via file transfers (e.g. via e-mail); in these cases IP-version is irrelevant :)

I supose he is talking about WWI games... that require both players to be connected and in sync... ;)

Ares is still about transferring files; it just makes it a bit more streamlined

Dunno how relevant it is for WW1; want me to move this to the WW1 forum so it may better catch Calvinus' eye?
