Do subordinate commanders matter?

Sun Feb 21, 2010 8:07 pm

I think this has been asked before but I can't find the thread. Anyway...

Do division commanders matter in a corps formation? In other words, do the division commander ratings affect combat at all or is it just the corps commanders ratings? Also, does it lower combat effectiveness if a division commander isn't activated but the corps commander is?

Yes, it does. Corps and division commanders will increase combat effectiveness of units with their defensive/offensive rating : 5% for each rating point of a corps commander and 3% for each rating point of a division commander.

Also, does it lower combat effectiveness if a division commander isn't activated but the corps commander is?

No it doesn't
