Board Game v PC Version

Tue Jun 23, 2009 4:02 pm

Hi

I bought the board game a few years ago but never got round to playing it.

I was wondering what were the differences between the two?

I am going through the rules to both version, and aside from the PC game manual being a lot easier to read, I haven't found much different so far.

thks
Mike

In fact the computer game is a very close adaptation of the boardgame when you use all advance rules (especially Army-by-Army activation - see Options in the menu)

Ok cool, sounds like I can dig out the board game charts and tables and use those.

I did notice the scale of the "hexes"/regions on the Eastern Front is smaller than in the board game, I wonder why this change was made and what impact that would have on gameplay.

Apologies if this has been covered before, but can someone tell me where I can find all the excel tables used in the PC game?

The game installs a folder named "Modding" in the main game directory, they are all in there
