Supercharged Militia

Have been playing the full campaign and am now June 62. Checking my units I have noticed the Bowling Green Militia has four experience stars and has been upgraded to line infantry. Is this usual? or am I just lucky?

Hi

Yes, militias upgrade to early infantry and to late infantry later, with much better stats. Its by event, depending of the historical date
The stars are experience awarded by combat. So your ex militia must have been pretty active. With four stars they are elite by now
Each star improve the stats also. Take care of them
