The same old patch question

Sun Oct 12, 2008 2:49 am

Love the changes in the new patch, as usual AGEOD is on top of the game with the support and improvements.

So, the age old question is, I am in the middle of a PBEM 1812 game... what effect would patching in the middle of this game have? As the Americans, a better control on the poor sanitation and effect of privateers would make me very happy, but I'd hate to mess up the fine game I am in the middle of.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think you'll be OK. The changes are mostly 'dynamic'.
You will NOT be able to run the replay for the 'pre-patch' turns.

I suggest you make a copy of your save folder 'just in case' so you can revert to it if anything truly bad happens.
Always ask yourself: "Am I part of the Solution?" If you aren't, then you are part of the Problem!
