Line troops garrisons to ge VP

Wed Dec 10, 2008 4:02 pm

Hi
I wonder, are there any cities in the Great Campaign that require a line troop garrison in order to give VPs to the player?

Norfolk doesnt gives VP until line troops appear (the garrison)

this flag means I dont earn VPs from the city, due to low loyalty, and no "regular" garrison, only militia

I think you need a line garrison to get points for all strategic cities that are not loyal to you (not sure whats the loyalty % you need... 50%+ i guess).
If you don't garrison this unloyal strategic cities or do it with militias/irregulars you will get the flag Coregonas show and won't get any points for them.

I believe that you need line garrison in all strategic cities that are not initially loyal to you in order to get points.

Playing as the Union, it is not necessary for you to garrison the northern strategic cities in order to gain the points. However, you do need to properly garrison any southern strategic cities you might capture with regular units.
