Campaign PBEM problem

I am in a PBEM full war (April 1861) campaign. It's the early August 1862 turn. My opponent is hosting, I have issued my orders and sent them to him, but he says whatever he does the game opens as late July rather than early August. I have already re-opened my orders to make sure they are there and it's really early August, and sent them to him in a new zip archive, but the problem persists. I am on v. 1.10c to be sure.

What can we do? My opponent wants me to re-do all my moves for this turn, but since this will take me about an hour or so, I'd rather first check if there are easier solutions, and certainly if this would indeed be likely to solve our problem. Can anybody help? Thanks. :)

Did you try to sent him your .trn file too ?

If he opens the saved game of his side and got a wrong date, I would think that his files are not correct, not yours.

I would tend to think too that the problem is on the host side. Perhaps ask a third player with PBEM experience to check the files of the host.

Thanks, I did that. A third person ran the turn for us quite fine, using our files. Now what does this suggest with respect to where the problem was, I wonder? And should we be able to continue normally from here on? Thanks. :)
