Randomized leaders.

Tue Apr 17, 2007 7:09 am

I started an April 61 campagin (CSA) with highly randomized leaders and the results were a bit odd : the "61 generals" appeared all getting except Floyd (2-0-1, beurk...) getting a 6 strategic rating, and overall better scores... Why not, and then when the good ol' leaders appear on turn 3 or 4, I get Beauregard with 5-2-7 and Stonewall with 4-5-7... Not that I am complaining, I'll put the army of the Potomac behind forts and they'll crush any advancing Unionist, but still looks a bit odd...

Have any other players seen that ?

For now random leaders can't have stats under 0, so when you have a very crappy general, like a 'petty' leader (the 61 pool wtih shadow faces, etc.) with something like 3-0-0, you can mostly improve (a serie of 6 is a stroke of good luck my guess though).

But we can allow negative ratings :)
