What does this mean?

As the Supply Segment counts down it pauses with this message,"Several errors have been generated and the application is staling. Would you like to terminate it?" I say no and the count down continues. I have gotten this up to five times during the supply segment.
I hope this helps somehow.

I am at work but will try that later today. BTW, this morning I completed the late Sept. period fine. After making all my moves for early Oct. I ended the turn and mid way through got yhe message about some "burst "error and the need to shut down. I started the game again and found that all my moves were still there. I was looking around the map to see how my orders had been handled when I got the Blue screen crash about shut down to prevent damage. The message did say that the "problem seemed to be caused in the following file - SPBBCDrv.sys". Whatever that is.

Hi gbs!
SPBBCDrv.sys is a file of the Symantec (=Norton) Security Suite. I searched a bit in the net about that and it seems that several users have bluescreen issues with that driver (while not playing AACW

). So maybe you can find an update for your anti virus software and/or firewall or try to temporary turn them off while playing.

I use NOD32 antivirus. IMHO much better then Norton.
Anyway, since I have a crappy comp

I disable antivirus when I play to get some speed and memory.
Try that.

I had another game that I had to temporarily disable norton to play, I can't remember what. I will try that thanks. I think Norton IS a virus!

I am not too computer literate but one programmer toldme that Norton eats much of you memory and some other bad stuf.

Yep, it is a resource hog.
Its Corporate AV cousin is not; Symantec AV.
I highly recommend no one buy the Norton Internet Security suite - it is a resource hog, buggy, and will cripple valid software.

I'm using the free Avast! anti virus since one year or a bit more, and never got a virus or a side effect problem with any software. Seems ok for me

AVGuard is pretty good (and free) also. I use it since 3 years and have had no virus problems at all.

I use Avast as well! Nice and Free. Interface is purtty (CSA for pretty/jolie) It seems the Bulgars (is it?) are as clever as the french (almost...doh!)
