Crashes continue....

Sat Apr 14, 2007 11:28 am

I have had two more blue screen crashes this morning with the message about encountering and error and needs to shut down. I am playing CSA in the April 1861 campaign. It happens at no particular time, just when I am clicking around the map doing standard stuff. My video card is a pretty standard ATI Radeon 9800 series with 128 megs and fully updated drivers. This is not criticism of the game, I just want to play it and feel like I need to report these things because it has to be happening to others. I am just about at the point of putting the game down until a few patches address some of the issues. I am currently playing with version 1.00a. I will be happy to send a save game file if someone has the time to explain to me how to do that. All that being said, I think this is the finest game design of its kind I have ever seen.

I will investigate further, I have a 9800 video card, given graciously by Primasprite when he had this problem. This will take some time though, perhaps one-two weeks. Can you send me your DxDiag file to support@ageod.com also? (I won't be able to check the file before monday though).

Sorry for the inconvenience, I understand how frustrating it is.

Sorry Pocus, I'm not that computer savy. Where do I locate the DxDiag file. I will be happy to attach it to a e-mail to you.

if you run c:\windows\system32\dxdiag.exe you can save such a file.
