Salute

I am a new player.

I installed the game, did a search for patches, then patched it to 1.10.

Now I see that the game has actually been patched to 1.13.

In another thread, GRAY LENSMAN suggested I do a re-install before patching to 1.13.

Is this required, ie. a new install before each new patch?

Thanks in advance Buzzsaw

no, unless you're experimenting problems....There are very rare, but when cming a clean install is the best way to catch them. I did that once, along time ago.

Hi

If you got your 1.10 patch from a link on an old thread of the forum, you probably really downloaded the latest patch (1.13b) instead, no matter what th thread title said.
The patches use to share the same download link, a generic
http://ageoddl.telechargement.fr/latest/AACW_Patch.zip
where newest patch version substitute older ones.
This way obsolete patches are removed from the forums and you always get the latest one when you download.

About reinstalling, i do it from time to time to get things "clean" after patching several patches, mods, hot fixes... one above the other.
But as Clovis says, unless something don't work OK is not mandatory to reinstall for each patch.
It won't hurts, of course, and its the cleanest and optimal way to patch, but most of the times you can patch over a previous version without any problem.
