Hello,

My PBEM game is crashing (it returns to main menu) just after a navy bombardment. I join the log file and the zipped turn.

I enabled every log:
Here are the error messages (mess1, then a window with 3 buttons but without any caption appeared and finally mess2).
Note: I desinstalled/reinstalled the game and patched it to 1.12 before trying it.
I guess the problem is caused by the bombardement at the end of the turn near Richmond.

Edit: I changed the move of Jackson's corps, not sending him to richmond anymore and there's no more error. So the problem was the bombardement of the US ships on Jackson's corps.

Not necessarily. Due to how the engine works, changing one order changes e.g. all ensuing combat resolutions, even those not related to the stacks/units you changed orders for.

Yes but I'm almost sure it is because the error log is referred to a naval bombardment and the only bombardment that occurred this turn was between Jackson’s corps and US ships near Richmond. An other thing, during the turn resolution the error occurred just after it (or during it).

Well Gray, I changed the file after posting it, why would I had posted the turn without the error? Excuse me but it seems rather illogic to me. Anyway, Philippe answered to the error repport I sent, telling that the problem was corrected in RC6.
Regards.

No change was made in bombardments procedures, but ... if you get a bug Michael, please give me the settings and the saved game in my mailbox. Thanks to Inside686 also :)

Bug has been fixed for the upcoming release. This was a minor bug introduced after the new feature of issuing a message for each ship sunk during a bombardment.

The Union takes quite a beating btw... Who is Larry? Tagwyn?

I am... I accidently left the bombard order on...and he was able to bring a corp back to Richmond before the landing. Ouch!
