Game crash at Proceed to next turn

hi

I hot this button and the game exits to the main menu. then when i try to do anything i get an error box "Sorry a critical error has occured, the application will be terminated"

this has now happened a few times. I have tried reinstall with new patch etc.

the game will reload but crash in exactly the same way when i hit the Proceed to next turn button
