Mon Nov 16, 2009 3:28 am

Playing ver 1.15 and game froze up during a combat resolution late August 1862. The battle meter popped up then game froze and did not respond.

To clarify, this is not a one-time deal, the game keeps hanging at the battle of Henrico, VA.

Hi!
While some developer check this and comes with an answer... maybe you could try a work around (don't know if it will work! :bonk :)
If the freeze happens with the battle meter, maybe you could try to set the battle animation option at "masked" for that turn resolution.
I think in that setting the game skips the battle meter all toghether. Luckily if may avoid the freeze and you can keep on playing (keep fingers crossed) :)
Cheers

Thanks Arsan. I learn something new about this game every day

I masked the battle reporter but this time my cavalry successfully evaded my foe in Henrico, so no battle, no freeze, not sure this fixed things but definitely worth a try.
