Battle of Pittsburgh

Mon Feb 23, 2009 3:07 am

I'm sorry, I do not have any pictures.

In late 1861 the Army of the Shenandoah, commanded by J. E. Johnston, and ably assisted by Stonewall Jackson, Barnard E. Bee, and Edmund Kirby Smith captured Pittsburgh, Pa rather easily. In the the next few days, they held off three attacks.

This must be a glitch, but....

a fourth attack occurred. 245 elite infantry units with no commander attacks Pittsburgh's 5,000 remaining Confederates. Union wins, 5,000 casualties. All the general's had crosses next to their names. Johnston, Jackson, Bee, and Kirby Smith all dead. It was comical and absolutely damaging. I think the elite lost only 17. How elite are they????

1861, so far from any bases, and after 3 attacks? Your men were probably out of food, ammunition, or both.

To be able to truly decipher what has happened, a savegame is needed.

My guess is that the confederates were forced to retreat, found themselves with no places to retreat and were thereafter captured/defeated to the last man.
