Help needed for english language

I would like your help in the following matter
I bought a few years back both Birth of america and Civil war retail in paris.Both in french
I thought that there would be a way to play in english,but i didnt find one.
Is there a way with the codes that i have to download the game in english ?
Or to activate the english language if it is included?
Any help will be appreciated.If there is no way ,well it is my fault anyway
