Version 1.1 since then, it is "TList.
It is displayed with models, Get Data container for models definitions has some discrepancies for UID261 and the game doesn't start up.
Also, the game could not do 1.09f.
Why will it be?
Please improve.

You have duplicated units definitions. Uninstall the game, and then install it again, and patch it should works. If not, we will see to provide you an up to date version that don't need to be patched.

However, the game didn't start up.

May I suggest you uninstall the game completly, clean the folders, then reinstall it again. This should slove most conflicting issues with duplicates and other residual files from previous versions.

I bought package,not STEAM,but same problem occured.
Of course,Game is run correctly until v1.11 patched.
After patched,program said "TListModels.Get Data container for models definitions has some discrepancies for UID261",and end incorrectly.

I installed and uninstalled 3times ,uninstaller get rid of all files without few logs, get same consequense.

Both "MASAYUKI" and "OKADA" are Japanese unique　name, and I'm Japanese,too.Probably this issue occure upon Japanese Windows,perhaps not english,particulary 2byte language Windows.

and I had tried all Patch continuously.

1.10 changes are origin of this issue,Not STEAM,Not Installation Folder.

You must investigate this problem and fix it,don't you?

Seems like your version of windows don't like accentuated letters in file name, as the file # 261 is with a 'é' in it.

Have you tried to switch to English language with Windows, normally it should fix the problem (you have to deinstall and install in english language to be sure).

To switch to English, you have a button in your task bar, to the right, where you choose betwen Japanese and English.

Default Japanese Windows XP Pro and Media Center Edition can't change language without use control panel -> Local and Language Option.

I added English Language in control panel to chang Language JP to EN.

after changed it,I start test

Reverse to 1.09 no problem

Finally I cut off Japanese Language and reboot windows,repatch 1.11 and start up game,got same message "TListModels.Get Data container for models definitions has some discrepancies for UID261".

I did some other test.

After 1.11 patched,Search "Birth of America" Folder" at "é" got nothing result.

I changed file name "Birth of America v1.09.exe" to "éBirth of America v1.09.exe" and double-click to run,explore said "cant find the file".
I reversed the name and double-click,program run correctly.

Probably Japanese version explore.exe can't treat file that named with accentuated letters.

I think you should never use accentuated letters in file name.
First,you should fix this incompatible name and update patch.

I patched 1.12a but got same error message.
Repatch 1.09,game run correctly.
I need your formal all installed files list after 1.12a(text and screenshot).
I dare to compare my files and those files,and will report differences.

You crash because your Windows version don't support accents in filename. Check your version in the Armies, Units and Portraits folders for accents, and rename the file with _ instead of the letters, it should work.

I investigated all folder,probably name bugs are concentrated
Birth of America\BoA\GameData\Units Folder only.

I renamed all bug name files to 1.09 correct name.
But Error Message was not changed.
Method of Change Name don't solve the problem.
I suspect　Program(BoA.exe) refer files at bug name.

Do you have files with redundant numbers? Like 2 units named 261xxx and 261yyy ?

The list show all files,I checked top to bottom,each files have original number.
I don't have redundant files like named 261xxx and 261yyy.
Patch 1.09->1.12 increase only two files "375AME Minutemen.uni" and "AACW_Units18.csv".

Screenshot show files in my BoA\GameData\Units.
I can't replace only letter "_",because of Accenture letter made 1 Japanese letter with backward continuous letter in Japanese 2byte language system .

Anyway,Now you are developing "BoA Gold"&"Napoleon",aren't you?
I feel you're so busy faintly.
But,if AGEOD wanted to sell product except France,at least Don't make such mistake at Gold Edition!
