EAW Game Sought!

Hello! Greetings and best wishes to all game enthusiasts!

This is honestly a fantastic game, definitely one of my favorites. I've always though WW1 was "interesting times" and this pushes all the right buttons for me, so much so that this game has renewed my interest to a fever pitch, forcing me to read some most excellent books like "The Mad Catastrophe" and "Good Soldier Svejk" and my grandfathers old war diaries, a Czech fighting for Austria-Hungary who fought against the Russians and then the Italians before being interred in a POW camp.
Anyways! I would love to start up or join a PBEM EAW game, it sounds pretty fun and challenging.

This being my first post and all, I don't have as much history on this site as all the rest of you and might prove unreliable, but I've been a lurker for some time, thinking about asking to join a PBEM game, but deciding against it due to time considerations.
My time constraints are such: I work in the oilfields of Alberta, which are completely unpredictable hours for me, but I think I can manage 1 turn a day, but I can guarantee 1 turn every 2 days, and in any case I will keep you well informed.
Anyone Interested?

I'd fancy nearly every variant of play that I've heard of:

The Standard, three person game.
Many Players, many person game. Russia, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman, France, Britain, Italy, etc. (We would nail out the particulars.)

Either ways! My only stipulations would be that I wouldn't host (due to it would be nicer that someone with a more rigid schedule could host.), and you have actually played the game and wont loose the war through pure inexperience (although that does have some historical accuracy in the case of Austria-Hungary :-P)

Anyways! Please consider my proposal!
Cheers all!

This thread will be in place until either I give up trying to find anyone, or the game has finished (in which case it may be periodically updated to an AAR?). So if you see this weeks from today, I'm probably still down for a game, or dead :-P Haha!

Bless you all! Cheers!

Alright!
So the current state of affairs is!

Central Powers = Ajarnlance
Eastern Powers = Blank
Western Powers = Blank

With myself held available to fill any of the two blank slots.
I'm not sure about the whole 6 player thing, I'd love to try it out because it would make for a very dynamic and distinct game. But we will see.
As I understand it, the complexity of running a game like this isn't too hard, of course hard is relative and I may be understanding it completely wrong.

Anyways! That's the latest update. Cheers!

Hey Hyroda!
I'm not sure we are doing the many players variant game anymore. As cool as that would be!
If we do you can totes take Britain! As the ships and trading and colonies make my head spin :-P

So far it looks like we will play a standard 3 person game.
This is the setup so far. I don't really want to wait too long to fill up the Roster so:

With apologies to Hyroda, if he doesn't want to play a 3 person game.

Central Powers = Ajarnlance
Eastern Powers = Blank
Western Powers = Jinx

If we do happen to play a 7 Player Game:
With apologies to Ajarnlance if he doesn't want to play a 7 Player Game.

Russia =
German = (Ajarnlance)
Austria-Hungary = (Jinx)(Ajarnlance)
Ottoman = (Jinx)
Britain = Hyroda
France = (Jinx)
Italy =
USA = Held in Reserve.

Hi Jinx, I guess nobody wants to be the Eastern Entente? The 7 player game that you have outlined has you playing on both sides e.g. Austria + France :) Anyway, lets hope we hear from some more people... Is it possible to make the AI the Eastern Entente??
PM your email address. I want to send you my game settings as a screen capture. Cheers,

That's great. Welcome on board! Hey Jinx, looks like we have our third player. Are you ready to begin? Here are my preferred settings but I am open to suggestions. Ooops! One correction to below, Easy Supply should be OFF.

Haha! Those where all tentative options for me too play, but I wasn't going to be too firm on it, in case others wanted to play any of them. I guess I should have explained it first. :neener:
Anyways! That doesn't matter too much anymore!

Alright! We are just about set.
Everyone make sure you have the latest beta installed. Its got some nice features so we might as well!
I sent off the first turn to The Stegosarus, but I need your email address Lance. I realize your probably sleeping where you are at, so I will check back online in about 3 hours or so before I go to bed.
Aside from that! I think that's it!
Cheers for now!

Hey Hyroda,
So sorry man, we started the game a little while ago, just a three person game though, not the seven person game we where thinking about (although I want to try that sometime too).
Cheers!
