I'd like to get one or two more players for RUS, already have one other player to call upon. If you like, one player can play the two White factions. I just want to play the game.
Scenario: Kolchack's Siberian Coup or Grand Campaign. No modifications.Settings (debatable):

I could try the Southern Whites if you can get a Siberian player.

I will get a Siberian Player, unless somebody comes along here very soon.
Would you mind terribly if we used an external forum for posting turns and orders?
Gamefile in 1st post here:

I'd rather just use email, but I guess it isn't a problem. BTW the main page is hacked...

You can post your orders however you like, I'll post the results in that forum. Simply because for me, it's a lot more convenient than the posting method on this forum or email.

My apologies, I didn't notice the necessity of the activation rule. Deeply sorry but I can't join the game. Please don't take this as an insult.

Eh, the activation rule can be changed to accomodate your preferences.

Then I will love to join, yet it is doubtful I will email the orders today. I will do my best, but orders will most likely come tomorrow then.

Fine with me. What do you want the Activation rule to be?
Also, do I need to re-create the game, or will it be enough to just change the settings ingame?

No activation rule please. It is my worst nightmare.
I would think you would have to recreate the game. Sorry for the trouble.

So what are the game rules right now? Playing without the activation rule sounds stupid. It makes the whole strategic rating value mean nothing, making offensives available every turn, and destroys the game.

The only difference is that unactivated units can move, and there's no combat penalty. Unactivated units still can't use offensive actions.

Playing with it sounds quite ahistorical, especially considering that one can easily go around it by not putting any commander whatsoever in the stack. And what does it mean that one cannot order an attack would this look somewhat like this if in reality: "sir I am not active these two weeks, I can't move my boys or order an attack". It doesn't destroy the game, it makes it realistic. It isn't as if the appropriate time for attacks is chosen according to the astrological prognosis for the two week time period.
And strategic rating still plays an important role in the game, for example when "Marching to the Sound of Guns" comes into place.
As well, I heard many consider the Reds to have slim chances for victory than the Whites in the game. Abolishing the activation rule allows the chances of the Reds to somewhat increase their chances, since they suffer the most from the activation rule.
