For me is not a problem restart, but what is the link to problem you had, new or old the things to do are the same

That's what I've been doing along with going into the previous turn, saving it, and renaming the file Host.pbm.

So what's working wrong?

1) You installed the very latest release of 1.08Q, uploaded 3 weeks ago.
2) You have the following files in your SaveGame folder: HOST.SAV, HOST.MAP, HOST.PBM
3) You changed the content of HOST.SAV file, setting properly the faction AI infos (to be done only the first time, then all future times the PBM infos take precedence).

Now what happens?

I think I am going to pass on a new game. IMO, this game would work better in 2-player mode, just less files to keep up with, if all 3 of you want to restart, maybe you could start up 2 separate 2-player games?

In reality I would prefer a 4 players games, because team clash is one of good thing of this game

well we have 4 places for a 2vs2 and 1 place for the 1vs1 of Altaris.

So let start to count us:

me -> Germany (but not problem to change) for the 2vs2

I'd be up for a game (2 v 2) however I think poweraxe and powcarrot27 have first call. If either of them decide not to carry on then I'm available. Preferance would be Russia.

Ok, finally we are fourth; I shared the directory: let make the side:

I was the Germany, and if I remember well Carrot was russian adn Axe France, so RGA is it ok for you to do the Austria?

could you explain the new procedure to me again?

[Mitra]

1 process your first turn and save. you will generate a ord file a sav file, a map file and a pbm file. Rename the pbm file as host.pbm; place in the shared directory the ord file. You will receive from me a host.sav file; for load the second turn use the host.sav file not your previous sav file. Process the second turn and save it, send me the new ord file, etc... Practically I will process the ord file and send you the sav file of turn already processed. the PBM must be called host.pbm, because I will call the sav file host.sav.

When ready, play the first turn place your ord files in the share.
