Called "The Miscreant Pope" by Lee because of his harsh policies toward confederate civilians.

I don't agree with Slow Mover. The only time I've read of Pope moving slowly was in the Corinth Campaign and that was Halleck's fault. That stats are ok. Pope would've been a good general if had been able to get along with his fellow officers. As an army commander he alienated his troops as well by issuing a poorly thought out insulting message to his new command.
After being relieved of command in Virginia he did well fighting the Sioux.

Should be rated lower than McClellan. Pope was a disaster as commander of the Army of Virginia. He wasn't respected by many officers and was more or less a political appointment since he was a Republican and had backers in the Lincoln administration and Congress. For some reason he thought the Confederates would always be retreating when he approached them with his forces... oh, he was very wrong.

I lower his rating to 2-1-2. He was bad.

I think Pope's is another case of being promoted to your level of incompetence. Pope handled small forces well, like at Island #10, but army command was beyond him. He should suffer some decrease going from corps to army level (two to three star). I would think a hit to his strat would be in order and his attack rating, 2-1-2 like suggested with Korrigan's traits
