Any thoughts? Can't dl the spreadsheet at work, but I'd be interest to see what others think.

The highest ranking union general to be killed. Sherman believed that had McPherson lived his military reputation would've eclipsed both his and Grant's.
In Georgia Sherman used Thomas to pin the confederates down while he sent McPherson at the flanks. McPherson was also Grant's engineer in the Hery and donelson campaign and commanded a corps in the vicksburg campaign.

Suggested stats- Strategic 5, Offensive 4, Defensive 3, Engineer

given how highly we were ranking the union generals, should mcp's strat rating drop to a 4? whats the rationale for the 5?

James B. McPherson, who was killed outside Atlanta on July 22, 1864. I used his listory as my college assignment writing. Essay about jimmy mcperson gave me a good idea about his life.
