Some questions

Fri Feb 08, 2008 12:19 pm

-What does "days to enter the regions (only)" (in the tooltip relative to the region) mean?
-In the combat characteristics of the units, some have two numbers (assault: 5/10) what do these two numbers mean?
-Can a unit receive replacement if it's not inside a structure?
-Do ports (along rivers) provide some advantages with supply, cohesion and replacement? Is it considered as a structure?
-I saw one of my units could build a depot in a region where no structure is present (button enabled), I didn't try to do it. Is it a normal issue?

- Not sure. I suppose its just what it seems to be but the "(only)" is a little suspicious
- Don't know :bonk:
- Don't need to be inside. Its enough to be on a region with a structure.
I think you can gain some strenght on a region without structure, but veeery slowly. But you need level 2 town or more to gain a full element. (all this with the standard atrition setings).
- I don't think they do for land units. But they store some limited supply amounts (good resupplyng points to raiding cavalry on enemy areas).
- Yes its normal. You can build a depot anywhere (but forts only on cities).

1. only means the cost is the cost of the terrain of the region, but is not the sum of the terrain + potential crossing (like a river between 2 regions).

2. first is hits done, second is cohesion done.
