Hi again...
Just wondering about something: Why is St. Louis the state capital of Missouri? Is it for game-balancing purposes?

Not sure if the "star" in ACW signifies state capital however.
A star marks objective cities IMHO.

Yes, AFAIK, a star does indeed designate that. I first noticed this a while back (when testing the Trans Mississippi 61-62 scenario, where clearly the NM cities were marked with a star). I think it's a recent game enhancement.

I think the dome represents the national capitol.

Yep!
Montgomery is CSA capital on the first turns of April 61 campaign. Like in history.
Latter the "dome" goes to Richmond.
Cheers!

Nothing, AFAIK. Some, like Frankfort/KY and Milledgeville/GA, are not even depicted as structures in the game....
