I strictly need these...

Eh, took on reading the manual again (1.05e) and i say we should start to reform the wiki manual so that new players can learn the game the way it is now and not the way it was.

A few days without AACW...every call i took on GSM was ringing either as Dixie or Mississipi sawyer...eh eh eh it was only a matter of time before i could find a free night to play a bit. 1.07ib has put me against an AI acting totally different from how it was acting before...and it acts/reacts different every time. (I tried moving the same and it acted differently) USA raids are constant and the AI doesn't miss an opportunity, sneaking everywhere. This is odd...there seem to be no improvements in the beta changelog...now when i see USA invading N.O amphibiously, i 'll call for a doping test!

I strictly need some few but important things. I've started playing much more seriously than before and it's taking me hours for a turn. That's because i run through the log messages one by one before passing to the sentry, then going to the economy/political/replacements pages.

1) Units fail in repairing RR with no apparent reasons. As the text warning you of a RR being cut is missing, so the repairing/failure to repair should be added to the log (both missing).

2) I miss a filter allowing me to organize units in the ledger according to the state they are at the moment i check it and i also miss a r-e-t-y switchable between units who received orders (and are carrying them out), units who haven't received orders and locked units. The same goes with ledger of course.

3) I definitely miss the log message telling me who received a replacement and who didn't. I hate to say it but this is the one feature i've missed the most, so far. There's no turn i don't think "wtf why i can't know where they went?".

Replacements just disappear and i have no clue on where they go. It's ok i can't tell them where to go, but at least i'd like to be notified on where they went.

4) Depot/Fort construction/destruction log messages. (Depot construction is present in log)

I've got some questions now for the Gurus: :)

1) What do the Oc. Ship -> Transport do if placed in blockade box for CSA? I had supposed them being bigger ships, they would bring in more money though i see clearly that brigs are much more appropriate for the job, do Oc. Transports bring more $ to CSA (though being more vulnerable to patrols) or not?

2) Industrialization pays with $ or it just pays with supplies/war supplies? In other words, apart from the runners, do i have any other way to increase the $ production?

Thanks :innocent:

1) not sure if trans bring in more ressources ( i 'd guess not), but they are CHEAPER but have less evasion value and less hitpoints so they are vulnerbale to Union raiders. what i usually do is to pair up a brig with a transport to minimize losses if captured and get the most out of it, usually works pretty well.

2) no money increase possible by industialisation.

A couple of things to think about...transport is evidently bigger and slower (and cheaper but more vulnerable). I think it should bring in more cash but let's hear from others and have a confirmation first.

As of the $, i would think that producing 237329528 supplies and 54839572854 war supplies more doesn't help me much as CSA, especially since CSA forces are not so numerous and do not have such huge requirements. Seems a waste to me to invest on industrialization if there's no "return", we know CSA needs men (and these can't be produced) but also $. Better industry = better sales...wasn't there a V.A.T. at that point in time? :)

So is there a reason why CSA should invest in industrialization? (apart from the War Supplies return of course)
