AACW players - We need some information from you

Tue Oct 02, 2007 5:39 pm

Hi all,

We would need to know what is the video card you are using for AACW. Operating system, Video card Name and type is enough to keep us happy! (1 player = 1 post).

If you had a trouble with a specific video card, this is also important for us to know.

This will help us convince the Powers of the Beyond that AACW is truely a gem.

NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 on my HP Pavilion dv8000.

Windows XP Media Center Edition
Version 2002 Service Pack 2

This computer is going on 2 years old and this video card plays every game I have ever bought flawlessly. LOVE IT, wait...you didn't want to know that did you ;)

NVIDIA GeForce 6200. As a matter of fact, AACW was the reason I acquired this card.

But it did work reasonably well with the Geforce3 200ti that originally came with my 5 year old critter, too.

This is the most solid game i ever owned, and i am soaring 200 of them.

I never had a single CTD even with V1.0 and absolutely no problems with the VidCard (GForce 7500 LE)

I had to download a .dll from the web as the launcher wouldn't load the textures but this is likely an issue with DX/XPmce.

ATI Radeon X1600, the only problems I have had are with the latest drivers (Sept 07), DXdiag states that card is not DX compatible. I had to roll back to an older driver and all works well. Have had the card for a few months. Im sure AMD/ATI will fix this soon.

JP

:bonk:

Edit: I got a new laptop in June (07) and Game works well on it (Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 with 512 mb ram) and Vista. :mdr:

Win XP professional SP2 on a Desktop PC

Ati Radeon 9600 pro

No problems at all on AACW with old drivers for the ati (Catalyst 4.3)
With more recent drivers (Catalyst 7.1) i experienced heavy lagging on BoA. Never try them with AACW but i suspect it would be similar :siffle:

Cheers!
