I downloaded the 1.05b demo & started doing the tutorials.

Everything goes well until I come to the 'Gathering of the Armies'. I am able to merge at Henry all except the detached brigades of the Nashville force (eg. 1st Col. Brigade, Kentucky Volunteers, Nash Artillery) into Prentiss's 6th Division of Sherman's Corps by the 'drag & drop' method. All are unlocked. I cannot get them to merge.

I put them into Sherman's corps & try to drag them into the 6th division but it does not work.

I would appreciate any & all advice.

You can not add units to a division via Drag and Drop. You have to select the units and the division and add them with the '+'-button as described earlier in the tutorial.

Thanks very much. I was a little confused.

The 6th Division is gone & replaced now by the 7th containing the added units.

I am very impressed with this game. You can count me as a customer on the basis of the demo & I am sorry it took me so long. The game engine has hit a pinnacle with the ACW.
