Rail Connection Problems

I'm having problems with rail connections in two places.

(1) Copiah (Jackson is the city), MS and Shelby, MS (the province to the immediate NNE). The rail link here is not working. Soldiers assigned to rail through this area are either diverted to the rail spur east through Meridian, or disembark their train and reembark in the other province. Either way, the game is not recognizing the rail link in these two provinces.

(2) Shelby, Indiana (contains the town of Columbus) can only recieve rail traffic from the immediate western province of Brown, IN. All attempted rail traffic, even from the seemingly connected provinces to the north, south, and east is diverted through the rail spur in Brown, IN.

I've noted the Jackson problem previously. Presumably it's on the list to be fixed.

this is noted, but no promises on the day of the fix, many things are under way these days!

There is no Shelby, MS region adjacent to Copiah, MS. The region to the NNE of Copia, MS is Brandon, MS...? :tournepas

Sorry. I meant to say Canton, MS. Its the province to the NE with the direct rail connection.

Checked the game DB, the connection is rightly there, no problem on that matter. Does your problem repeats itself on multiple games ? If so, it's an rngine bug, and we shall need your saves... :tournepas

The problem with Shelby, IN was missing Adjancency lines in some of the rgn files. Has anyone looked for that to be the problem here?

Just corrected an adjacency problem between 1307 and 1308 in the map editor (preventing river boats to reach Ft Smith). If you have some regions # tell me, I will make another tour in the editor before 1.05c (this day)

Its been there in every game I've ever played under every patch. :D

I'll zip off a save game with the problem highlighted.

Found it, I think. In the rgn file for 689 Copiah - no adjacency entry for 690.
