Lee's activation...

I conducted a search and could not find a thread about this and I know there is one. I have had Lee in Richmond for some time now (early May 62) just waiting for the event that activates him so I can reorganise my army and move north from Manasses. How long does this take?

Indeed, the latest trigger is Late June 62

Crap im in late 62 (Oct) and he is still LOCKED........I got the msg about him taking command but he never unlocked :( Im not going all the way back to may..........just going to have to go on with out him.

YUP im on 1.02a.....I have always updated as soon as Patches come out.

I also have some weird stuff happing with captured arty..It will not return to full strenght..actually it has not recovered any...and I see a list of other UNION units when I pass the mouse over it.

Yep. He became active in early June. I had an Army HQ ready and he immediatly became Army of Northern Virginia. :coeurs: Now lets get this thing organized and go kick some yankee tail. :nuts:

@AP 514: send me your saved game, I will check why unfixing don't work.

captured artillery don't resplenish hits for now, because of the format used for replacements, you would need to have USA replacements.

Pocus, this means that captured artillery that is depleated is useless for now. Will this be changed in a patch? No use then including them in a Div, Corp, etc. as the element takes up a commcand point, correct?

Do you only get Army HQ as events? I have three now and Lee just became active. It seems like I have to strip Beauregard of his command and give it to Lee. I have one army in Memphis and one in Kentucky as well. Will I be able to buy one more or do I wait for some event not knowing when that will happen?
I belive I saw a text message once telling me that a army HQ was added to the pool but I never saw one in the ledger.

CSa has roughly 5 army HQs at most, and roughly (again) receives one per year (start 61 with 1 + 1 end of year, then 1 each in 62, 63 and 64)

USA has 9 army HQs, receiving 1 at start, plus 2 end of 61, then 2 each following year more or less...

Thanks. Good to know. I shouldn't been so quick and make a small army in Kentucky, perhaps.
The one in Memphis have hardly seen any action either. Maybe time for reorganisation.

For now this is not a big priority, sorry.

I answered by mail, the save is in may 62 and I don't get a message speaking of Lee being activated.
