Sioux uprising event - possible bug

I just got the Sioux uprising event and it states that I must send three brigades to the great plains or lose 25 VP. I have the locked garrison and two additional militia units there and yet the next turn I still lost 25 VP

militias are not brigades, you need 3 regular formations, brigades or regular regiments for example.

Next game and this time I have three regular inf brigades (Iowa) in the great plains and yet the turn after the Sioux uprising I still lost 25 vp.

You have to keep them in garrison from September 1862 till end of January 1863 included. If they move away, then you lose the 25 points.
If despite this you still lose the points, we have a bug here...thanks for spotting...

I got a message that I lost the VPs in early Sept 62 with the brigades present. The Sioux didn't last long though.
