I gather from the manual that confederate raiders capture a certain amount of war supplies when they succesfully attack union shipping, how will this work? do you gain one war supply for each ship you sink?

ah, too bad. In that case the manual contains a mistake on page 40, here it states

"confederate naval raiders may also slightly disrupt USA war supplies production ( and provide some captured war supplies to the south) See p. 40 for further details"


The bold statement is clearly obsolete then leure:
