Preventing MTSG

When facing an enemy with a strong defensive position where Corps from the same Army are in position to support each other by Marching to the Sound of the Guns, is it possible to use a small force to attack and hold one Corps in place, while concentrating the bulk of your forces against the other corps? If so, would the attacks have to be timed to be nearly simultaneous?

Not that I have seen. You would have to time the attacks perfectly, such that the corps was engaged on the exact same day. Otherwise, it instantaneously transports back to the starting region after the 1st battle, and can march to the 2nd battle.
