It's E Dec, 1862. The CSA controls all the cities in Kansas (except Omaha which is really in Nebraska) and all in Missouri but St. Louis. But, surprise! The USA's Gen. Blunt's force appears anyway in Lawrence, KS.
I'm not surprised that he appears, just the location. The nearest friendly city is Omaha or Council Bluffs.
Is this WAD?

I have seen this before, but not often. I have seen 'freebie' Union Leaders appear in oppo cities and even in Regions with no structure.
Musta lost their compass.

Thanks for the save.
Blunt appears in Lawrence when I run it [WAD]

If Lawrence is enemy occupied, he'll try for another city in KS.
If all cities are occupied, he'll appear somewhere random in KS.
So, all is well, the way the event is written....

Thanks, LL. A follow up question then ....
OK, so to be crystal clear it wasn't enough that the CSA
owned Lawrence, they should have
occupied it?
If the CSA wanted to foil Blunt, they would have to have a unit in every city in Kansas I suppose.

Correct. As written, the events only check for presence of the enemy, not MC.
Lotsa events like that in AACW and others...

Yes, I don't think we have considered this before...we might add some Evalcontrol command in the events, but I am not sure they would work without a clearly defined region Alias...might need testing....and then tons of work hours to add that in events, if this work

Couldn't this be "easier" to consider that your .... opponent has made a succesful suprise raid on your rear...and you have to live with it....it happened in wartime, so why not in the game after all
