Fort Artillery and MTSG

I'm wondering what impact fort artillery has on MTSG, will MTSG then be super slow or not happen at all. I think fort artillery has a 20% move rate.

Can't say that I've seen anything obvious in my PBEM with GraniteStater as we've fought in and around Ft. PTG Beauregard in Memphis. Hard to tell though.
AFAIK, MtSG is mostly based on the Army commander's strategic rating.

Someone out there probably can post the code algorithm though.

Anyway, I think it's crazy try to move a fort artillery unit into an stack, it isn't? :bonk:

Maybe this link about MTSG can be useful.

MTSG is based on how long it takes the stack to get to the region so yes, slower units will hurt your MTSG chance.

Among others elements, MTSG is based on commander strategic rating and time required for the force to move into the region where fight happens.

Look at detailed MTSG algorithm here.

Edit : sorry, I haven't seen the link was already provided by Ethan :bonk:

Desperate times for artillery.

Anyway, try to move it by ship if you can do it.
