What the devil happened?

Thu Jul 14, 2011 9:14 am

I won’t post the turn file as this problem wouldn’t be shown there anyway but I invaded Kentucky and took most of it on the first turn, except Columbia where they moved in with a strong force and my men retreated.

I sent men to Bowling Green but they were stopped by CSA moving on the river and their strength and cohesion dropped to nil. I suffered the loyalty problem as I should have. But it looked like they went in the same as I did.

Now three turns later it seems that the Rebs invaded! All of my troops in the state dropped to nil cohesion and strength! The Union Loyalty has now climbed to 65%.

How did the event trigger twice? :bonk:

Okay, well, it happened again!

I invaded KY in August of 1861 and the CSA now invades in October of 1861. I got all of the starting units again too.

Now I am running with 1.5 and Gray’s hot fix so it is not perfect because that did make the MTSG work a bit odd. So this may also be a side effect but has anyone else seen this happen?

I just had a KY message very late, in 1862, in an AI game (me, Union) - 62 start.

No effects I could see. 1.16rc4a.

RULES
(A) When in doubt, agree with Ace.
(B) Pull my reins up sharply when needed, for I am a spirited thoroughbred and forget to turn at the post sometimes.

I've had that happen a few times when playing as the Confederates (I never invade Kentucky as the Union so it's never come up playing that side), I just rewind the turn and take over the side to undo the second invasion.
