I'm in early Feb, 62. Union. Looking at last turns results.
French Intervention in Mexico +1 National Morale and -10 Foreign Entry Level. Vera Cruz is now French controlled. French army lands in Mexico (locked till foreign intervention triggers war).
ok. Two lines down I also see this.
French Intervention in Mexico +3 National Morale.
Interesting that I benefit twice from this, but so be it. This being my first time playing in Feb 62, I accept it as normal.
But then the last three lines in the results log say this -
Confederate States of America captured Vera Cruz in region Vera Cruz.
Confederate States of America captured Harbor in region Vera Cruz.
Confederate States of America captured Vera Cruz depot in region Vera Cruz.
That doesn't look normal at all. When I scroll down to Vera Cruz on the map, there are indeed a bunch of Frenchies sitting in the city, with a French looking general and Vera Cruz is owned by the French.
Odd. What is odder (more odderer?) is that when I go to my replacement screeen, I see Mexican Line Infantry, Mexican Militia, and Mexican Cavalry as additional options.
What gives?
