#4 Raiding Enemy Towns
In AACW you can raid enemy towns, or if you prefer, keep the stockpile for yourself. This is accomplished easily with an order given to your units. Combine this with the fact that many units, such as cavalry and partisans, may withdraw from a fight with a good chance of success, you can make your enemy suffer by forcing him to defend his supply lines with a significant portion of his forces.

So, you send your cavalry into enemy towns just to raid them and stole enemy supply units and then withdraw quickly?
You will keep the supplies stolen? (or the unit will keep it) :niark:

I will provide some actual game rule details here...

That depend if you are using the "Evade Fight" order... If not, then the supply remains in place for further use. If you use the order, there is 2 possibilities:
a) the unit is still moving, in this case we consider this is a raid and your burn the supply (after refilling to your best your unit!)
b) the unit has no more move order (this was its final destination), in this case you keep the supply.

This looks good. A significant part of the Civil War was fought with raids and partisan warfare. Looking forward to bushwhack me some Yanks, or pacification operations as the U.S. Army.
