What is the difference between "2 Theater Campaign" and "Full Campaign w/Kentucky? The description is identical when you cursor over them.

What is the difference between the start dates of April and July?

I am going to ask for a PBEM "Campaign thing' in a week or so. What is the most accepted Campaign on this forum., the April or the July?

Thank you

April starts slowly, but is more variable. The St. Louis massacre hasn't happened yet, and there's a chance it can go well for the Union. Sam Houston may form his own cavalry brigades, turning north Texas into a Union area. Neither side has much of an army; the CSA has a stack in Charleston to attack Ft. Sumter; the USA has garrison troops out west. Also, since it starts before June, you get to choose political options. It is so amazingly flexible that a skillful CSA player can take such US positions as Cairo very quickly; in fact, Washington is not entirely out of reach in the first few months. This is, far and away, the most popular scenario choice.
July starts with some things pre-set: MO has turned against the USA, McDowell faces off against Beauregard in Northern VA, and there are several fortifications, notably St. Louis, Washington, and Richmond. Or maybe that's 1862.
