Suggested House Rules for a PBEM?

Hi all,
Can anyone suggest any common 'house rules' for an AACW PBEM full-length game? This is pretty typical in War in the Pacific PBEM's (Matrix) where players can easily take advantage of hard-coding. I can think of a few:
1) No 'toggle' bombardment of shore facilities (moving fleets in and out of hexes until the shore-based garrisons are destroyed)
2) No CSA cavalry raiding above the Ohio until '63.
Thanks, marvingardns

Howdy, Marvingardns.
I assume that you are the same gentleman I know from the WG. So, this must be the new game which you bought? But tax filing isn't even over yet!
Good luck with your PBEM! Playing anyone I know?

Hi Markshot. It is me, marvingardns. I have a marvingardns account on AGEOD, but it says have permission to do, well, nothing.
I've played Siekster in a PBEM of WIA where my Montcalm met his Waterloo, so to speak. In reality, Montcalm's army died in the frozen wastes outside of Oswego in an ill-fated transfer of his army to Niagara. I'll never make that mistake again. Just drive down Champlain and keep close to your reinforcement point at Quebec.
Anyhow, tax season is almost over. I might just dive into that PBEM with Siekster in AACW.

I'll ask our Forum Admin, Rafiki, to look into it and see if we can get your true identity restored.
You and Siekster have fun!

It was waiting for confirmation before granting regular access; the e-mail telling you about this is probably stuck in a spam-filter somewhere on the internets
In any case, the account should work now. Let me know which one you wish to use in the future; I imagine "marvingardns", but that's up to you

Figured it was something like that. Thanks.

WOW! Thanks! I felt like I was having an out-of-body experience!
I updated AACW this morning before heading into work. I'm super-pleased there is the replay added in. Thanks all at AGEOD.
I'll be diving into WWI as well after tax season. Downloading the latest patch seems to have helped greatly. I still need to tweak my Trend Micro AV. It seems to have not liked something that the executable attempted.
Cheers, marvingardns
