I just want to say for the record that I was certainly "Part of the problem" as it relates to the sluggish pace of the last attempt at a Grand Campaign. I would like to spur some discussion about another try...

I did some follow-up reading in the GC forum and it appears a new structure might be found in perfecting the GC. I would first and foremost like to volunteer for the position that no one formerly stepped up for....the newspaper.

I think as a media professional I have some of the traits that could make for a fun presentation there.

Anyway...let's see what ideas we can come up with for a GC that lasts the text of time eh?

Now I'm slightly more experienced (though not really sure whether thats a benefit or a hinderance) I'd certainly throw my cap into the ring if there were to be another GC. After doing an AAR I know full well what is involved and the amount of work it takes. I'd wish to be considered for a theatre commander role as it suits my temperament.

I would very much like to see another GC, I think the concept has great potential and in the rights hands, can be very entertaining, both for participants and for spectators.

I do think, however, that it might be a good idea to wait a bit and see how things go with the ongoing PBEM tournament; perhaps there can be some more people interested after having given AAR'ing a try there?

What....a PBEM Tourney??! How did I miss out on that one?? .
