Should Mounted Infantry have the Cavalry special ability?

The cavalry ability allows the element an easier retreat during the first four hours of the battle.

Should they be elite units? I believe they thought they were.

They were among the first to be equipped with Spencer rifles.

Terry's Texas Ranger bde. is currently listed as Cavalry. They should be changed to mounted infantry....look up any book on Nathan Bedford Forrest...

And yes IMHO I think they should still have the cavalry ability for easy withdraws...
