Having posted a complaint I had about the game in another thread I thought it was only appropriate that I write a thread that deals with the positives of the game as well. First, the game has great strategic depth. The player has many choices to make through out the game and there isn’t one sure fire way to win the game time and time again. Second, the game is just plain fun. This is something that often is left out of strategic war games. Often these types of games can get bogged down in minutiae that are a drag on playability.
Finally, this game has a high immersion factor that makes the player feel like Lincoln or Davis facing the tough decisions that needed to be made to win the game. This is my first AGEod game and I just wanted to say good job and keep the frequent patches coming! Thanks again.
