Well...that was a bit Disappointing

:8o:

After all the effort I put in over the last 5 days to get the yanks on the ropes. :fleb:

It is early January '64. I'm all set to launch the final offensives I have so carefully lined up from Philadelphia to Des Moines. Armies ,corps, divisions fine tuned with supply and support to carry me all the way to Chicago and New York..and what do the yanks do??? They give up. Double :fleb: :fleb:

Tomorrow I'm going to start again with the AI turned up on high to see if that is any better. On default settings, playing the C.S.A., it was only a matter of taking DC and St.Louis then holding on. After that all the fight seemed out of the yanks and it was just a matter of time. Though I didn't realize this for certain til they actually threw in the towel so early. :grr:

I am playing the CSA and won on about turn 23 by taking Washington but have continued playing.

I wanted to see IF the yanks would give up or what happened if my morale hits 200.

Right now USA Morale is 2....

CSA Morale is 166....

So I wonder if thier morale reached 0 when they gave up or do you suppose it was the because it was 1864 and the game was about over?

It seems as if they are still putting up a struggle with a 2 Morale but I am encroahing on 3 sides and they are in a big bind.

I was on normal settings and just screwing around with it before I join the big boys on hard (or even worse try PBEM).

Thanks

No AI can match a good player... Try PBEM, expect losing your first games, but lots of fun.

Try adding lots of bonuses to the AI, I ve done myself playing against it and went overruned !!!
