I have a few questions regarding militia...
1) After a few months a militia brigade is made, and both of the regiments turn into "Late" line infantry, the NATO symbols keep as "Militia" in the right list of elements.
Do these consume militia replacements?
2) However, as I merge them into divisions, the NATO symbols of the same units are now displayed as "Line INFANTRY- Heavy".
Do those consume infantry replacements?
3) Also, Not sure about this, but... seems the replacement pool counts more militias than I really have.
It says I have 120 elements in map, and I cant find all those! Perhaps I can have 80 real militia regiments.
So are line infantry- previously raised as militia - counted in this pool as MILITIA?
4) Once militia upgrades... some times the NATO symbol is militia, but others Line Infantry... being the same kind of unit. The 250 men that are needed once militia upgrades use MILITIA or INFANTRY replacements, depending of these?
The main reason of this post is that I still find difficult to spend all "free" militia replacements. I ve tried buying ALL militias in the pool, until the first months of 1862, and buying every free slot that comes in. This is not the same with infantry replacents of course, always in need of some more!
