I've been so busy that I am now getting back to AACW and was wondering were everyone or what is every one's starting point. I have been starting with the July 1861 Campaign.... seems it helps me get back into the swing with some of my Army in place.....

Cheers

I'm starting by buying a new PC! I kid you not, I get it next week :niark:

Then if I can get over this darned cold, I'll continue reading the rules which I'm finding well done so far.

The first tutorial is an absolutley brilliantly designed interactive learning tool. One of the best I've seen (typos etc., I believe are being fixed).

As for scen, I'm probably going to start small. I eventually hope to be equally comfortable with BoA once I'm done and ready for BoA Gold :sourcil:

Kind of in the same boat. I still start at April 61. Nothing happens until July - everyone is locked or disorganized. Gives you a bit of time to develop where you want to attack. As CSA I've been beginning lately by getting up as many troops in Tennessee as I can, before the US takes it over.

Turns out the AI still hasn't made a concerted effort there, and it's April, 62 now.
