Army using Star Trek transporter

Thu Sep 27, 2007 3:40 pm

Interesting phenomenon:

1) I used "instant transfer" to move an Army unit to Cairo, IL. The Army unit was not yet "ready", but "jumped" anyway.
2) I put Army in a stack where Fremont had command of a Division, and Halleck was just hanging around.
3) Formed an Army, and it used Fremont with his entire Division (he was most senior).

OK so far (even though I was surprised I could "jump" a locked Army unit, and interested that it grabbed the entire Division when formed)

Now the fun part!
4) Tried to "unjump" the Army, and Fremont with the entire Divison jumped back to Washington!!! The whole thing (Army, Fremont, Division troops) can then be "jumped" to any valid taget location!!!

Umm, this is a bug, I think. ;)
I'm also a little concerned that we can "jump" a locked Army unit.....

Save files attached.....

And, uh, please no comments about giving Fremont command of an Army !!!!! :siffle:

i believe it's on the same panel where you select whether you want to move via rail, river, etc.
