Winning NM 185 for Union

Mon Sep 03, 2007 5:48 pm

Hi folks, just out of interest does anyone know of an event or option that takes the Union winning morale point from 200 at the start of the campaign down to 185?

This has happened in my PBEM with Gene but neither of us saw what reduced the number.

Cheers, Chris

Good question. I thought it was automatic in 1862 (1863?). And I noted some other weird things about changing of NM winning level (I played as the Union).

jan 1864: the winning level gets higher (from 185 to 225), I suppose it's cause of presidential election (it would make sense that political tensions make harder to win the war), but I received a message saying the victory level should be set at 150 (which btw I had already, and it wasn't enough to win). Maybe 150 is the level I needed to get Lincoln re-elected?

nov 1864. Lincoln re-elected. I got a message (or maybe a tooltip, not sure)saying the victory level was set at 125, but the objective screen reported a victory level of 185 (btw by the time I had 220 ca, and the game ended, so I don't know what's the right level). I suppose something needs to be corrected in the messages / tooltips.

I remember getting an event, I believe it was after the Eman. Proc. that lowered NM to 185 to win. Not 100% sure.
